Bowral’s top team will be playing for the last time together after great success in the past six years.
Several players will be moving on to other clubs or retiring from bowls.
And this will mean a new start for pennant players at the club. First we must concentrate on the state titles and congratulations again to the players for winning the district and zone finals.
All bowls fans wish you well in your quest for a state title. Bowral selectors Ashley Lewis, Greg Taylor, Kevin Stafford and Gordon Lewis have selected the following for the state finals to be played at Dubbo and feel they have selected a tactical side.
Team one: Ashley Lewis, Josh Woodcock, Dougal Braithwaite and Mick Spong.
Team two: Greg Taylor, Nathan Boyers, Dennis Beatty and Mick Armstrong.
Team three: Carl Spilker, Jim Neely, Garry Brown and Stuart Rigg .
Reserves: David Coltman and Kevin Stafford.
Managers: Lew Wilson and Mark Wilson.

Sympathy to the families of two very well known bowlers and respected members in the passing of Bob Grover and Joy Woodey.
Bowral Bowling Club will hold its AGM on Sunday, August 26 at 11am. Office bearers for board of directors will be announced and also office bearers for the Bowral bowling men’s section.
