The Wingecarribee Volunteer Centre advises that help is needed in the St Vincent de Paul shop in the Highlands.
More than just a treasure trove of bric-a-brac, books, toys, furniture and clothing, Vinnies shops raise funds to allow volunteers and staff to help everyday people in need of support and hope.
St Vincent de Paul reach out to the most vulnerable in our community.
By volunteering at Vinnies you are helping continue the good works, including homeless services for men, women and families; support for those living with mental illness; support employment services for people living with intellectual and other disabilities and youth programs.
Even if you can’t help this time, check out your local Vinnies stores – you never know what you’ll discover.
Donations of suitable items are welcome – if you’d give it to a mate, it’s perfect to donate!
Without the generosity of volunteer, stores would find it very difficult to operate.
If you are sitting at home reading this and thinking this role would suit you, please get in touch with Wingecarribee Volunteer Centre now on 4869 4617 or email info@volwing.org.au for more details.
Alternatively drop into the centre at Queen Street, Moss Vale, on Monday-Thursday, 9.30am-1pm, and talk to the friendly and experienced staff.
