After a few poor games due to injuries, Robertson returned to winning form.
Robertson regained their pace and defeated Mittagong Lions 4-3.
Robertson coach Brendon McDonald said it was great to see some key players make their return to the field.
“We also had some young kids come back from the under 18’s down the coast and had some experience in the backs with Damien Gair,” McDonald said.
“It was a very tough and fast game, but it’s a very open competition which is great.”
This win puts Robertson third on the ladder, only one win behind Mittagong Lions.
Bowral celebrated a dominant 9-1 victory over MossyWang.
The teams went head to head last week with a 6-2 defeat in Bowral’s favour.
Bowral proved they were not ready to back down.
Glenn Turner scored five goals for the team while Sam Chambers and Trent Dodwell scored the other two.
Bowral coach Lindsay Leneve said sticking to the structure the team put in place last match had worked in their advantage.
“We took to the field with a more attacking attitude,” Leneve said.
“We stuck to our structure and came out with a better win against MossyWang than last week.
“We will again stick to that structure for the next game and see how that plays out.”
Leneve said while MossyWang were a great team, it was their experience that had let them down in rounds nine and 10.
“They have not played together before,” he said.
“They have some younger players and they’re still building their team.
“That might take a year or so, but they do have the potential once that has been sorted.”
Leneve said the stand out players of the match were David Turner and Jarrod Ireland.
Bowral sits at the top of the ladder after winning seven out of 10 games and drawing for one.
In the women’s first grade matches, Bowral celebrated a 2-0 victory against Burrawang Revels on June 22.
Moss Vale was defeated by Mittagong Lions 5-2.
