They defeated Alistair McGhee Carl Spilker Nathan boyers 33-8 in the final.
Team Spong pulled out all the big shots to blow team Boyers away.
Team Spong raced away from the start and in a final they were calling all the shots and after seven ends had a match winning lead of 17-1.
As the match went along it was all Team Spong that had a 25-5 lead after 14 ends.
On the day team Boyers had no answers as hard as they tried.
It was one of the greatest wins in a club championship.
There was also another exciting match played at the club on Saturday with Ashley Lewis, Josh Woodcock and Dougal Braithwaite defeating Greg Taylor, David Coltman and Dennis Beatty 20-19.
This was a remarkable result as team Beatty had a 14-3 lead after nine ends.
A huge transformation came over the game in the second half and team Braithwaite powered home to snatch a win on the last end to win by one shot.
