KU Donkin Preschool in Moss Vale was presented with a cheque for $14,000 from the quality learning environments fund by Member for Goulburn Pru Goward on Friday morning.
The money will be used to purchase a new air conditioning and heating system for the centre.
The installation of the system will benefit 60 families and about 100 children that attend the centre on a weekly basis.
KU Donkin Preschool director Karen Hayes said an upgrade to was well overdue.
“The heating system is old, and we don’t have a cooling system so in summer it’s extremely hot,” she said.
“Now we can regulate the temperature throughout the centre.”
