It is becoming a tradition that it tends to rain on this day.
While the netta and junior divisions all completed their games, intermediates, opens and cadets all had to be postponed.
However, crazy sock and hair day will run again.
When round eight commences after the long weekend on June 16, we will run another day for the intermediate, cadets and open divisions to show off their creativity.
There were great games on June 2 in all the divisions that competed.
Games were close and competitive but, more importantly, all teams had fun and showed amazing sportsman while raising money for the Kids’ Cancer Project.
A total of $606.90 was raised in just one and a half hours of play before the rain came down and made it too dangerous to continue playing.
What a great effort.
Southern Highlands Netball Association would like to thanks Ten Pin Bowling Mittagong, Play Zone Bowral and Colosseum Bowral for supporting this wonderful cause and offering prizes for best dressed team.
