Police apprehended a young man in the Bowral carpark who was wanted on outstanding warrants.

The man, who was known to police, attempted to flee when police tried to arrest him.

He fled from Corbett Plaza, got into a car and tried to leave the scene before police officers and detectives arrived to provide assistance to officers already on the scene.

The man was apprehended in the Lamond Lane carpark and taken to Bowral Police Station.
