In 2011, Kate Middleton chose a half-up, half-down look with bouncy loose waves, dubbed the 'demi-chignon', to marry Prince William at Westminster Abbey and it quickly became her signature.
Meghan's current go-to look is similarly stylish, wearing her long hair down, often styled with subtle waves, or up in a relaxed bun with tousled curls framing her face.
Christine Ross, who's been chronicling Markle's style on the blog Meghan's Mirror since 2016, said the messy bun was a relatable look from the future Duchess.
"Her messy bun is stunning, but effortless, it's definitely her signature," Christine Ross, from blog Meghan's Mirror, told AAP.
But Ms Ross predicts Meghan will ditch her messy bun and opt for a chic bun on her wedding day.
"Maybe a low chignon would be better suited for the event, but there will definitely be a tiara."
Australian celebrity hair and makeup artist Jade Kisnorbo predicts the glamorous bride will wear her hair down and relaxed on the big day, as she did when the couple announced their engagement.
"I think she will be quite timeless and wear her hair down as so many brides do at the moment," she told AAP.
"A stunning, natural, yet polished wave never dates and if her hair is curled around her face, it will highlight her amazing jawline and bone structure."
Meghan's makeup will be natural with a brown smoky eye, Ms Kisnorbo added.
Harper's Bazaar UK reports British hairstylist Miguel Perez will be in charge of Meghan's locks for the May 19 wedding to Prince Harry.
Perez is said to have met the future royal through his famous client, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.
