However it was not the same story for the Ladies League Tag team.
The ladies started the day with an understrength side.
With five players unavailable for the match, Bowral ran out onto the field one player short against competition front runners Camden Rams.
Although defeated by 36 -10 the team really stuck with Camden after going into the break at 22-0.
Francis Cristian, Asher Bulfin and Brianna Sawtell were the Kookaburras best players.
The girls then formed a tunnel for the under-6 team that played after them.
The under-6 players felt like they were running out onto ANZ and it was a fantastic atmosphere for the youngest club members..
Bowral’s under-7 and under-8 teams also enjoyed warmer weather in the northern end of the Group 6 competition.
In other results the Bowral Kookaburra under-11s had a solid 26-6 win over Narellan and the under-12 team also recorded a great 38-8 win over Narellan.
The under-13s did not play Saturday.
Bowral can still accept registrations for its teams up until July 30 and any interested families are encouraged to come along and join a fun family club.
