Neville Tanner, Rick Reynolds and Dan Ticehurst defeated Harold Wall, M. Hammond and Bob Edwards 22-20 at Bowral Bowling Club on Wednesday, April 11. In the match of the day team Ticehurst looked like the match-winner from the start, and after nine ends they had a commanding lead 16-2. Team Edwards then started to play top bowls to get back into the match and with one end to play the scores 22-15 in favour of team Ticehurst. Then in an amazing last end Team Edwards picked up five shots to go down by only two shots, which was a very good fight back after being 16-2 down.

Pennants to resume after Commonwealth break
The pennant season had a break, while the Commonwealth Games was on at the Gold Coast. The pressure will be on the Bowral teams in the next few weeks particularly grade 3 and grade 6. As they lead there section up-to-date points table.
Grade three: Bowral 31 points, Picton 20 points, Crookwell 18.5 points and Campbelltown City 10.5 points.
Grade six: Bowral 28 points, Campbelltown City 20.5 points, Taralga 18.5 points, Robertson 10 points and Camden 3 points.
Grade seven: Camden RSL 39 points, Campbelltown city 28. 5 points, Bowral 15.5 points, Picton 14 points, Bargo 12 points and Camden 11 points. The selectors have chosen the following teams for Saturday, April 21.
Grade three will travel to Picton: The team will be as follows: Anthony Coismac, Jim Neely, Garry Brown, Stuart Rigg, Greg Taylor, Dennis Beatty, Stephen Della, Mick Armstrong, Ashley Lewis, Josh Woodcock, Dougal Braithwaite and Mick Spong.
Grade six will travel to Camden:
Don Coleman, Alistair McGhee, Nathan Boyers, David Coltman, Carl Spilker, Ken Handley, Russell Fahey, Paul Leverett, Robin Staples, Bruce Clynes, Russell Knight and Kevin Stafford.
Grade seven will play Camden at Bowral:
Richard Denman, Oscar Whalan, Don Chapman, Gordon Lewis, Glen Giese, Owen Williams, Brian Porter, Dan Ticehurst, Graham Hunt, Clive Neutze, Mick Flynn and Bob Edwards.
