A tow truck stolen from the Bowral area on January 4 has been recovered in the St Marys Area.

On Thursday, January 4 the 2013 Dual Cab tow truck, painted with ‘Bowral 24 hour towing’ was stolen from the Bowral area.
Police from Nepean Police Area Command were alerted to a gold-coloured tow truck being driven erratically and hitting parked vehicles around St Marys just before 3pm on Saturday, January 6.
Following a search, officers located the stolen tow truck in Magnolia Street and a short time later the driver of the truck was located behind a nearby house and was arrested.
He was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he assisted police with inquiries.
