How celebs celebrated Thanksgiving

Amid all the turkey eating, family chatter and stretchy pants, celebrities in the US are sharing their Thanksgiving moments and what they are thankful for with fans. And while in Australia there is little devouring of pumpkin pie and no fall photos, thanks to social media we have a front row seat to everyone else's celebrations.

Many celebrities, including Kim Kardashian West, Reese Witherspoon, Ellen DeGeneres, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis all took to Instagram and Twitter with colourful craft, food and family photos. Others wished their followers a happy Thanksgiving.

While everyone was busy devouring traditional foods, Miley Cyrus also enjoyed some cake because the now 25-year-old's birthday happened to fall on the US holiday this year. The singer documented her entire day on social media, including sharing a snap of the custom-made rainbow necklace from her fiance Liam Hemsworth. She also shut-down pregnancy rumours in the most hilarious way possible.

"Thankful for another journey around the sun!" she wrote alongside a photo of Rainbow roses. Responding to articles and social media posts after Cyrus posted an image of herself looking slightly bloated, Cyrus took to social media to clarify, "RUDE!!! Not pregnant just eating a s--t ton of tufurkey."

Comedian Chelsea Handler followed suit with a hilarious post. "On this Thanksgiving, I am grateful to all the people who are still talking to me," she wrote on Twitter.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen who announced they are expecting their second child this week, took the opportunity to post a classic fall photo of their 19-month-old daughter, Luna Simone.

Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Biel and Kerry Washington chose to post their finalised products, proving that they have skills beyond the acting world.

In true Kardashian style, Kim posted a snippet of home videos from past Thanksgivings to Twitter, with the extended videos on her websit, as well as an image with her mum Kris Jenner and o???ther family and friends on Instagram. ???
