The Nature Conservancy Australia is once again encouraging the community to get out and start snapping for their nationwide photography competition.
Open until October 27, the competition is open to photographers of all levels who enjoy capturing Australia’s natural beauty – whether it be flora or fauna.
Categories include landscape, wildlife, water, urban nature, people in nature, and whacky wildlife.
Organisers said the competition, “aims to inspire Australians to engage with nature through photography, and celebrate Australia’s natural beauty.”
They are offering more than $8000 in prizes. There is also the opportunity to have a one-on-one workshop with one of the competition judges, Nature Conservancy Australia Director Rich Gilmore and a People’s Choice Award.
The winners will have their work featured online, as well as being featured in a 2018 edition of Wild – Australia’s longest-running outdoor adventure magazine.
