The club has started a girls under-16 7s team after months of planning and rallying girls together.
The squad, who have new, unique jerseys, are looking for more girls to join the squad.
To encourage girls to play, registration fees have been heavily discounted.
The girls train every Friday afternoon from 4pm to 5.30pm and play competition games every second Sunday at various different sites.
With its recent return to the Olympics, Rugby 7s is now one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
In particular the Australian Women’s team gold medal at Rio has inspired girls and women across the country to take up the sport.
Rugby sevens is a variant of rugby union in which teams are made up of seven players playing seven minute halves, instead of the usual 15 players playing 40 minute halves.
If you would like to register for the team, visit the Bowral Rugby Union Facebook page.
