Burradoo Club fielded one A Mixed side and an Open side plus one junior player and a selection of sub-junior players.
The teams played several games over Saturday and Sunday to attain a place in the finals on Monday. The A Mixed side got through as underdogs having been beaten on the Saturday by the same team they were to meet in the final.
The Open side played strongly all weekend but sadly missed out on a place, as did the mixed up Junior team with the Burradoo player.
The Sub-Juniors team which was made up with three borrowed players from Milton and Sydney clubs attained a place in the B Grade Sub-Junior Final.
The A Mixed side lifted their game and triumphed by winning soundly over their opposition and Belinda Tarlinton, playing in the defense position, won the best Number 3 player.
The Sub-Junior team unluckily lost in a hard fought game to receive runners-up in their competition. Two of the Burradoo players won individual wards, Skye Gilpin received Best Number 2 player and Zoe Fuller received Best Number 3 player.
Club members all enjoyed the unexpected sunny, warm weather and great competition and finals games.
It was a good wrap up for the season in the Southern Highlands with many players looking to travel south to Jugiong, Harden and Tumut to compete before heading to Warren for the NSW Zone Championships in August.
