Gary Raymond will be the guest speaker at the Mittagong RSL Sub Branch annual Anzac service at Highlands Baptist Church on April 23. The service will commences at 10.30am. Chief Inspector Gary Raymond APM, OAM was at the scene of the John Newman political assassination, and when the killers of Anita Cobby were tracked down. Singalong
Mittagong Uniting Church will hold a singalong on April 24. All will be welcome to come along and be entertained by the Mittagong Senior Citizens Ukelele Band. CWA
The Mittagong Branch of the CWA will hold its monthly meeting at their rooms in Winifred West Park, Mittagong on Wednesday, April 26. Activities will include handicraft at 10am, lunch at 12pm and the meeting at 1pm. Visitors welcome. Details: Beverley on 4871 1483.
Anxiety support
The free Moss Vale Anxiety Disorder Support Group meets on the first Saturday of each month at 3pm and the second Wednesday of the month at 10.30am at the Moss Vale Services Club. The support group is open to people with Anxiety Disorders and their friends and family. The group is for over 18s and is not suitable for people with Schizophrenia or PTSD. Bushwalkers
Southern Highlands Bushwalkers will explore Wattle Ridge on April 30. The walk will be an interesting one to various rock features (dome, castle and rock tables) and then out to the view over the creek. Details: Malcolm on 4889 8661.
Veggie Group lunch
The Southern Highlands Veggie Group will hold a Vegan and Vegetarian lunch on April 30 from 12.3-pm at the Terrace Tea House in Bundanoon. Anyone interested will need to RSVP at https://www.facebook.com/groups/shveggiegroup/. Everyone will pay for their own lunch. The Tea House is located at 27 Railway Avenue, Bundanoon.

Concert
Enjoy a musical afternoon with the versatile and eclectic pianist John Martin on Saturday, May 20 at 3 pm at The Rose Music Room, 51F Sunninghill Avenue, Burradoo. John is a familiar musician to concert goers and listeners of Australia’s classical radio networks. He will perform works by Sydney composer Mark John McEncroe, and local composer Ann Carr-Boyd.
