High-range drink driving charge

Police stopped the 65-year-old, who was driving a Holden Commodore in Browley Street, Moss Vale on March 26.
A roadside breath test proved positive and he was taken to Bowral Police Station for a breath analysis test which gave an alleged reading of 0.155.
His licence was suspended immediately and he was charged with high-range drink driving.
He will face Moss Vale Local Court on April 18.
Mid-range drink driving charge
A man was charged with mid-range drink driving after he was stopped by police in Bowral.
About 7.15pm on March 26, police saw a Land Rover being driven on Bong Bong Street.
Shortly afterwards, it was seen parked in the car park at Bowral railway station.
Police stopped a 61-year-old man from Robertson a short distance away and was identified as the alleged driver of the car.
He was given a breath test which gave a positive reading.
He was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station, where a breath analysis test gave an alleged reading of 0.115.
His licence was suspended immediately and he was charged with mid-range drink driving. He will appear at Moss Vale Local Court on April 4.
Woman assaults officer
A 23-year-old woman was charged with several offences, including assaulting a police officer.
Police saw a physical altercation between a man and a woman on March 24 about 9.20pm in Bowral.
Police allege the woman repeatedly used offensive language and made threats to assault police.
As police arrested her, she allegedly punched a female officer in the face.
The woman will face Moss Vale Local Court on April 18, charged with offensive conduct, resisting arrest and intimidating and assaulting police.
