The Blacks were set to open the season with a home game at Eridge Park but the grounds were too soaked.
The Blacks will have another home ground advantage in round two on April 1.
First grade will play round two at 3.20pm against Kiama RUFC.
Second grade will play at 1.30pm against the South Coast side.
Blacks coach Pete Burt said the team was in good form ahead of the opening matches.
“We want to start the season strong and build into our structures, we are not expecting to do anything drastic in the first few weeks, we just want to make sure we get the simple things right,” he said.
“Each week we want to improve our play and get better and better.”
Burt said he hoped to see a good crowd out to support Highlands rugby in round two.
