Police, Fire and Rescue NSW, State Emergency Services (SES) Wingecarribee Unit, Rural Fire Service (RFS) crews and NSW Ambulance members will tackle the fourth annual Triple Zero Cricket Challenge.
As always, the gala day is the name of charity – this year it will support the Southern Highlands Suicide Prevention Program.
The program has been active in the Highlands for more than a decade and helps people in distress to find appropriate help.
Highlanders are invited for a day of fun and a chance to see what it’s like being on the community’s front line.
St Jude Street will be closed for an interactive street fair with a fleet of vehicles, equipment and emergency information.
Highlands primary and high schools have been invited to attend. Volunteer and career information will be available for older students.
The day kicks off at 9am at Bradman Oval, supported by the Bradman Foundation and council with special guest, former Australian cricketer, Len Pascoe.
