The Wingecarribee Baha’i community will soon launch Soul Time in the Highlands.
Held on the third Sunday of each month, Soul Time will start on Sunday, February 19.
It will run from 10.30am to 12 pm at the Henrietta Rose Room, Bendooley Street, Bowral.
Soul Time will provide an opportunity to unite in a tranquil environment and reflect on inspiring themes and the common threads that tie everyone together.
It will feature live music, audio-visual pieces from faiths and philosophers, authors, leaders and Indigenous cultures from all over the world.
A new theme is chosen each month.
The theme for the first event, which concentrates on the importance of the family, is ‘A Home of Peace’.
Soul Time is not a religious or political event.
There will be no talks or personalities and no one belief system is focused on.
Soul Time will be held in Bowral on February 19, March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18 and July 16.
A similar program has been running successfully for many years in NSW, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania, along with other locations in the United States and Canada.
Guests come from all walks of life.
Some come for the music, others come for the readings and audio-visuals. Some sit back and close their eyes, while others sit poised for every word and picture.
