Daisy Schaefer, a 14-year-old student at Moss Vale High, was recently awarded the 2016 Most Improved Junior Girl Golfer in the Central Southern Golf Association district.
The Central Southern Golf Association (CSGA) district takes in the ACT, Queanbeyan, Yass and the Southern Highlands.
Daisy has only been playing golf seriously this year and has improved her handicap by 20 strokes, a great achievement for such a young player.
CSGA President, Pam Barker, presented Daisy with the trophy and a prize as recognition for her achievements at Bowral Golf Club on Tuesday, November 15.
The CSGA promotes competitions and championships for women golfers of all ages and golfing abilities in the district and fosters the growth of junior golf.
