UnReal Estate will premiere on Channel Nine and producers have searched Australia for the best homes to showcase.
The show will be hosted by comedian Cam Knight and host of Hughsey and Kate on KIIS-FM Kate Langbroek.
A Sutton Forest home will feature in an episode of the new program.
Leona Edmiston and her partner Jeremy Ducker currently live in Sutton Forest, and show host Cam Knight visited their property.
“I loved coming down to the Highlands, it feels like the English countryside,” Mr Knight said.
Ms Edmiston is a fashion designer who has owned the country house with Mr Ducker for the past seven years.
It was originally a rundown farm, but now it’s their place to unwind.. They spend their time relaxing with their three-year-old twins Dusty and Dylan.
The country retreat sits on 10 hectares and consists of three buildings – the main house and two guesthouses, plus a tennis court, vegetable patch and pond for trout fishing.
Mr Knight said the show was a combination of Grand Designs and Enough Rope.
“We interview owners of elaborate houses, and we’ve been thrown for a six about these amazing homes,” he said.
“I was like a little kid let loose in a candy store [while filming], it was so much fun to visit these homes and take up residency, even if only for a day or two.”
Mr Knight said he loved exploring the houses of Australia.
“It’s a very interesting subject, who doesn’t drive past an amazing property and think ‘who lives there? How did they do that?’,” he said.
“It’s a fun show, and almost filmed completely live, so the beautiful thing is you get to see our true reactions and responses as the rooms are revealed to us.”
The show will premiere on September 27.
