THE women’s first grade grand final left spectators cheering after the match between Robertson and Moss Vale ended in extra time.

Danielle Eringa scored with two minutes left of the first half for Robertson. A few moments into the second half Cody McAndrew scored a goal for Moss Vale off a short corner.
Defence was strong from both sides and at full time the score was tied at 1-1. The game went into five minutes extra time each way.
Robertson took the premiership after Brooke Griggs scored three minutes into extra time.
Moss Vale captain Hannah Menzies said it was hard fought match for the team, who hadn’t been in the grand final for eight years.
“As usual it was fight, fight, fight. Neither team gave up. My girls fell short but it was a still an excellent match and everyone performed really well,” she said.
Robertson captain Jess Ditton said it was a tight game.
“Mossy were stiff competition. They played so well, we only just made it in the end.”
