THE people at Kaz Kids have a fun line up of activities to keep your children amused these school holidays.
Sign your young magician up for the KazMagic: Discover Magic workshop, where they will learn all new tricks straight from the Discover Magic headquarters in America.
This is part one of a two-part program, and children will be under the guidance of KazMagic master magic instructor Peter Kazacos.
Just don’t ask what your child learned on the day – a magician never reveals their secrets.
For those children who are more visually inclined, sign them up for the Photography workshop, where they will learn about the art of taking great portraits.
They will learn camera basics, such as what makes a great picture and how different lighting can change the mood and look of a photo.
Finally, children can learn about the Koori culture of the Highlands with the Indigenous Art Making workshop.
Classes are held by trained Indigenous artists who will teach your child about the earthy, tactile, grounding and creative process of Indigenous art.
This is not only an art lesson, but a culturally rich experience.
The details of the classes are:
- Discover Magic: ages six to 14, $140, from September 29 to September 30
- Photography workshop: ages eight to 12, $70, October 6
- Indigenous Art Making: ages eight to 12, $70, October 7
All workshops are inclusive of morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Spaces are limited, so book now at http://www.kazkidsworkshops.org.au/
Kaz Kids Workshops is owned and operated by Your Angel Charity.
