HIGHLANDS netballers returned to the Eridge Park courts in fine form on Saturday.
The Southern Highlands Netball Association's (SHNA) winter competition resumed after a three-week break for the school holidays.
Round three matches were contested in the three junior divisions, netta, cadets, intermediates and open grades on Saturday.
SHNA competition co-ordinator Kate Bow said the standard of play was impressive on Saturday.
"It was lovely to be back and everyone turned up on the day," she said.
"The standard was great, particularly because not many had trained last week due to Anzac Day."
Bow said junior division matches were played in tricky conditions in the morning.
"The first matches were held on wet courts but they had dried up by 10.30am," she said.
"We had another light downfall at lunch time, but it was beautiful in the afternoon."
Round four of the SHNA competition will be played this Saturday at Eridge Park.
