Winemaker Jonathan Holgate said receiving five red glasses this year was a first for Tertini Wines after three years of being award a five glass rating.
“We have achieved the five glasses in the past three years for various wines we have submitted to Halliday, so it was great news to hear of our five red glasses entry,” Mr Holgate said.
Five red glasses are considered to be “exceptional wines that have won a major trophy or trophies in important wine shows, or are of that standard.”
Centennial Vineyards winemaker Tony Cosgriff said “keeping our red five glasses was very satisfying and illustrates consistency in a game where mother nature has a habit of throwing curve balls.”
