Renwick Reunion attracts big crowd

This year about 175 people came to remember and raise awareness on the day.

Renwick Association president Leeallison King said, "one man broke down crying because her had never seen a picture of himself as a child."

The turn out was a smaller one this year, but Ms King was happy to see that new people had shown up from states across Australia.

She said, "it's slowly spreading out" and that it's "still worth having every year".

Peter Garret's wife, Dorris Garrett, also made an appearance to support the association on the day.
