MOSS VALE R celebrated winning the women's premier league title on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Yerrinbool.
Chris Woods and Gabby Illiani were the goal scorers for Moss Vale.
It was a close finish to the match after the Bushrangers scored a late goal to put plenty of pressure on Moss Vale.
Moss Vale team manager Jennifer Wattel said it was a nervewracking finish and was ecstatic for the team.
"I'm just stoked for the girls. They played hard all year and to the get to the grand final was great. We just got to the ball first and we were hungry for it," she said.
"All credit to Yerrinbool, they put us under pressure in the second half and they did well to get here as well."
At the start of the season many would have expected a rematch of last year's grand final between Robertson and Bundanoon.
But this year, the teams that finished third and fourth made it through to the decider.
Wattel said Martha Johnson, Polly Miller and goalkeeper Sam Plain all had outstanding games in Moss Vale's win on Saturday.
