Singer Kyle Bielfield hails from the US city Miami, while pianist Lachlan Glen is from the NSW country town of Camden.
The pair met while studying at one of the world’s top music conservatories, the Juilliard School in New York.
Kyle and Lachlan trained together before forming as a dynamic duo, under the name Bielfield and Glen.
Bielfield and Glen’s album Stopping By debuted high on the US Billboard Hits charts last year.
Soon after, Kyle and Lachlan headed out on a US album release tour that received gleaming reviews from music enthusiasts and critics alike.
Kyle and Lachlan are now in Australia for their first ever national tour here, called Ambrosia ‘14.
The tour includes a performance at the Burrawang School of Arts on Saturday, August 23 at 7pm.
Highlanders can expect timeless songs by Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra and Dolly Parton, combined with classical music.
The show is also influenced by the classic production, The Wizard of Oz.
The performance rediscovers the tale of The Wizard of Oz and covers similar themes, from love through to adventure.
Tickets are $56.10 each.
