IT was a big weekend for Moss Vale Dragons, as the club celebrated its centenary year.
On Saturday, the juniors hosted teams from across the Group 6 competition.
Some NRL stars including Matt Cooper, Matt Groat and Shaun Timmins were on hand to mingle with fans and give young stars some encouragement at the pass the ball activity.
Games continued throughout the day before a red tie dinner on Saturday night.
Old Boys Mark Knight and Grant Russell spoke about their time with the club while Steve Edge also addressed the audience.
Club archivist David Baxter recounted the history of the club with a slideshow presentation.
Former Illawarra Steelers and Moss Vale player Owen Saunders also spoke about his experiences with both clubs.
Yesterday the Moss Vale Old Boys had a match against St Mary’s Old Boys before a demonstration match between the Dragons reserve grade and under-18s team.
