A police spokesperson said the body was yet to be formally identified.
Ms Lhorne was last seen in her car, parked near a Whale Watching Centre, by a member of the public on Saturday night, 290 kilometres west of Ceduna.
Staff at the centre had spoken to her after she appeared to be sleeping in her car on an access road.
The search for the missing 30-year-old French national began after her car and personal belongings were found abandoned nearby on Sunday.
Star group members abseiled down the cliff Monday afternoon where they found the body of a woman.
Investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
