Bowled out for 98, a good effort in the field has Bowral at 5-119 going into next Saturday's match.
Damien Plain and skipper Mark Bisby led the team, with Plain top scoring with 30 and taking two wickets, while Bisby scored a respectable 17 and took 3-51.
A couple of ducks hurt Robertson, but Bisby said it was a good day, with the side looking forward to this week.
Only eight players in the field allowed Bowral to steer the ball through the gaps, but Bisby said with a number of players including the McDonald brothers and James Orman returning next week, it should no longer be an issue.
Bisby said Grant Pointing and Michael McGraw fielded particularly well for Robertson-Burrawang, and hopes they can take a couple of quick wickets early on Saturday.
Bisby said they can definitely get a result from the game, and can win if they bat sensibly and restrict Bowral in the field.
