The newsagent’s success is largely the result of Trish’s efforts to come up with new ways to promote weekly and special event Lotto and lottery draws and Scratchies, decorating the shop with posters, balloons and themes.
Trish said Fathers’ Day, Mothers’ Day, Friday the 13th and jackpot draws were the busiest times for Lotto sales.

Marulan Newsagency won the NSW Lotteries Chairman’s Award at the ceremony at Star City Casino on Friday, August 14.
The award is given to an agent that has achieved outstanding performance in all areas except sales.
Marulan Newsagency owners Geoff Kettle and Sharyn Ward set up the brand new agency in 2006 and have risen through the Top Shop rankings to end up in 25th place out of more than 1000 agents
