It was a crazy Wednesday, July 22 at Bowral Bowling Club.
Bowls was the winner with three matches coming down to one shot wins.
Lawrence and Bill Pope defeated John Fleming and Paul Rubie 19-18.
Lawrence and Pope got away to a good start and led 9-2 after six ends.
Things looked grim for Fleming and Rubie, but they came back strong to come away with a one shot win.
R. Kumar, Owen Williams defeated C. Bragwin, Bill Meredith 25-24.
Brangwin and Meredith put in a good display early and led 13-10 after 11 ends.
Kumar and Williams had a 21-14 lead after 15 ends, but all of a sudden Brangwin and Meredith hit top form to only fail by one shot.
Ted McPhee and Bob Edwards defeated John Cummins and Clive Neutze 19-18.
This match was great viewing for the spectators. It had great shot selections, with McPhee and Edwards just holding on for a one shot win.
