The grocer has won two accolades at the NSW and ACT IGA Awards of Excellence, which were announced on March 1, and hosted by journalist Deborah Knight.
Twenty-three awards were presented overall, and the store was named as the Large Grocery and General Merchandise Department of the Year, and Large Meat Department of the Year.
Criteria for the awards included customer service, community pride, department excellence, brand values, merchandising and the overall performances of stores.
IGA Moss Vale owner Ben Graham said it was an honour to be recognised at a state level, and it showed their renovations and products have made a difference to customers.
"I'm proud of the team, we employ a lot of locals and they know what our customers want and need," he said.
The store, which opened in 1995, relaunched with renovations in July, 2023 to improve shopping experiences for customers.
Mr Graham said one "point of difference" at the supermarket was offering "bespoke" products from small suppliers, and reducing costs of grocery items by two per cent during the cost of living crisis.
Two in-house butchers and an apprentice are also there cutting and preparing fresh locally-sourced meat for customers, while having competitive prices with bigger supermarkets.
"We're obviously ever-changing to meet our customers needs," he said.
"The cost of living crisis makes us work harder on what to offer customers".
