The Dolphins have continued their great recent form, as Dolphins defeated Mariners 13-6. Their combination is coming good at the right end of the season with some great goals scored in their thirteen goals haul.

The Mariners were able to keep in touch for the first quarter, only trailing by a single goal 2-3 but the Dolphins showed after that, that their skills were far too slick.

Two Dolphins goals to Ben Canute and one to Daniel Barnes, to Mariners goals by Jason Sellers and Jovi Winters kept them in the hunt. Three more Dolphins goals, two to Chris Canute and another to Ben Canute, gave Dolphins a safe three goal buffer, as Mariners were only able to add one to their total at half time.
The Dolphins continued to out play Mariners in the second half, extending their lead by two goals in each of the second half quarters, 4-2 in the third period and 3-1 in the last quarter.
Daniel Barnes finished with three goals for the match, Chelsea Flood two, Blake Osborne 2 and Steve Dunn one. Jovi Winters was Dolphins best scorer with four.
The Sharks mauled Polar Bears 10-1. The Polar Bears have lost a couple of players moving away from the district, while the Sharks have been boosted through a significant addition. The score told the story of the match. Sharks were helped along with six major exclusions being recorded against Polar Bears, to a solitary one for them.
Sharks scored five goals in each half and Polar Bears lone goal was scored by Scott MacLean in the third quarter. Stephen Maitz 2, Emma Maddox 2, Lauren Balla 2, Jason Nicolas 1, Miles Lochhead 1, Gabby Butcher 1 and Michelle Maitz 1 were Sharks scorers.
In B grade Mariners defeated Polar Bears 7-3. The Polar Bears had enough shots to win the match but the Mariners were able to keep them out. The 3-1 half time score was indicative of the game.
Mariners led 2-0 at the first break while the second period was even at 1-1.
Alexandra McQue and William Docherty scored for Mariners in the first period and Sean Andrews in the second. Lauren Cameron was Polar Bears lone scorer.
Polar Bears began well after the major break with Lauren Cameron scoring a second and Andrew Basaglia adding to the Bears total.
The Mariners still managed to comeback at them scoring three goals, one to Leanne Butcher, Greg Bourke and William Docherty. The final period was close with Alexandra McQue scoring the only goal of the quarter for Mariners.
Horton's Heroes defeated Oxley Gold 6-4 in what was a n example of how much this Oxley team have improved. Horton’s Heroes are the competition frontrunners and Oxley Gold pushed them all the way.
Horton’s Heroes led 2-1 at the first break and probably felt that it would be easy to build on as the match progressed but it was Oxley Gold who came back with two goals to Horton’s Heroes 1 to lock the match up at 3-3 at halftime. Phillippa Kettlewell scored two for Oxley and Sophia Dummer one.
John Jamieson scored two for Horton’s Heroes. Brooke Smith scored Oxley’s fourth goal. Horton’s Heroes managed to pull away in the final period to steal the win.
Oxley Blue had to forfeit to Dolphins due to other commitments so it was an easy night for the Dolphins.
