On Saturday, December 8 at Robertson Bowling Club, the final day was played between the three teams of Bowral, Robertson and Bundanoon.
Following a tight finish Robertson won the event for the first time after many years of domination by Bowral.
The annual event is held in memory of Robertson stalwart Eric Plain who passed away several years ago.
The final points score was:
- Robertson 6 points
- Bowral 5 points
- Bundanoon 4 points
In the pairs, Bowral was up against Bundanoon and David Coltman and Nathan Boyers defeated their opponents 11-5 and 9-7 over two games of nine ends.
Noel Fraser, Carl Spilker and Dugald Braithwaite had a 16-5 win over their Bundanoon opponents in the first set.
But Bundanoon put a lot of work in the second set to win 13-7.

In the Bowral v Robertson match in the pairs, it revealed just how close the teams were.
Russell Fahey, Paul Leverett and Josh Woodcock defeated Christine Wortley, Phil Vaughan and Brian Robinson 8-6 and 8-7.
Robertson had a massive win in the pairs with Mick Frost and Graeme Tutt upsetting the Bowral pair of Jim Neely and Stephen Della 9-8 and 9-7.
How close the matches worked out over the four weeks showed there are several top lawn bowlers in the shire.
And this could mean that come Pennant season in 2019 that all three local teams will have the opportunity to shine.
Once again congratulations to Robertson for winning the trophy for the first time.
