On Sunday, December 2 at Bowral Bowling Club the annual Crowe/Brenning trophy was contested.
The match is played on a annual basis and matches played at Bowral and Robertson.
John Crowe and Bill Brenning were two very dedicated bowlers who passed away a few years ago .
On Saturday at Robertson the local team had a solid win over Bowral .
But in this match the form book was thrown away.
The matches being played were in singles, pairs, triples and fours.

The passion showed by Neely showed right through the match and gave him a big win on the day.
Stephen Della and Mick Armstrong defeated Mick Frost and Graeme Tutt 27-13.
Both Della and Armstrong were in top form on the day.
Russell Fahey, Russell Knight and Josh Woodcock defeated Damien Plain, Ian bradburn and Danny Srbinovski 20-12.
The Bowral team showed good form to run out winners.
Robertson won the fours match in a close encounter.
Christine Wortley, Guido Federico, Phil Vaughan and Stuart Whyte defeated Noel Fraser, Ken Handley, Carl, Spilker and Dugald Braithwaite 22-16.
To win this match Robertson had to come from behind.
The form of Robertson in the second half of the match got them home.
Winning or losing is not the everything in these matches.
It is just thinking about two stalwarts who gave so much to the game of bowls.
