Tulip Time 2017 kicks off today.
There will be plenty of events for everyone to enjoy over the next couple of weeks.

►The 2017 Tulip Time festival will kick off with free entry for the opening few days.
Most of the tulips in Corbett Gardens have not yet bloomed due to unfavourable weather conditions.
With the 2017 Festival set to kick off from September 12, council will offer free entry to all visitors until the tulips put on their annual spectacular display of colour.
►With just over a week until the public meeting, debate surrounding the Station Street upgrade plans continue.
The plans have been on public exhibition since August 16 and a public meeting is planned for September 20 at St Jude’s.
One group that will attend the meeting and seek answers to their questions will be Highlands Matters.
►After the driest winter in 15 years NSW faces challenging conditions as bushfire season approaches.
Wollondilly MP Jai Rowell has encouraged all residents who live near bushland and areas prone to grass fires to start preparing for the season ahead.
On September 16 and 17 the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) will host a ‘Get Ready Weekend’.
►The Robertson Spuddies cup and shield teams bowed out of the group six competition over the weekend.
The Spuddies shield team went down to Oran Park 10-8 in a nail-biting preliminary final game at Dudley Chesham Sportsground on Saturday, September 9.
Spuddies shield captain/coach Aaron de Jager said despite the loss, the club was able to hold its head high. “They tried hard, but it wasn’t the result we wanted,” de Jager said. “It was a great effort from the club to get both teams in the semi-finals.”
