UPDATE - 3.10pm:
Police continuing to investigate the whereabouts of a woman in the Mittagong area have released an updated CCTV image of a woman they believe she may have crossed paths with.
Kathleen Lidden, aged 52, was reported missing by her family on Wednesday 14 June 2017 after having left the family residence at Mittagong the previous day on foot, and not returning.
Mrs Lidden did not take any of her personal belongings with her.
Her disappearance is considered to be out of character and grave concerns are held for her wellbeing.
Police from the Hume Local Area Command have established Strike Force Aeons to coordinate the investigation into her disappearance and efforts to locate her.
Previous searches conducted in the Mount Gibraltar bushland area, the Lake Alexandra area and extensive canvassing of the Mittagong Central Business District have failed to locate Mrs Lidden.
To assist in establishing the last known movements of Mrs Lidden, police have released an updated CCTV image of a woman they believe she may have crossed paths with.
Whilst this person is not considered a person of interest, police believe she may be able to provide information regarding her movements.
It’s thought the two crossed paths about 12.40pm on Tuesday 13 June outside a day spa on Old Hume Highway, Mittagong.
Mrs Lidden is described as being 162cm tall, with a thin build, and short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow/cream coloured fleece jumper, thick grey tracksuit pants, white joggers, white scarf, and carrying a dark brown/black backpack.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers or Bowral Police Station on 4862 9299.
