Covering 26 sections, exhibits include art, jam, vegetable creations, homemade goodies and school contributions.
Pavilion chief steward Margaret Whatman has been in the role for the past three years, but has exhibited for more than 10 years.
She said there was plenty to see for any interest, and everyone should keep their eyes out for the more unique categories and entries.
“We have a basket made entirely of potatoes this year, I have never seen that before,” she said.
“The cake decoration section is always fantastic, last year someone designed a cake to look like a potato sack with mice coming out of it, they were very realistic.
“The children create vegetable designs – animals and people – which are always interesting.”
Each section is judged by a specialist in their area, and most judges are from out of town to prevent bias.
The pavilion is located opposite the show ring.
