The inaugural Rockabellas Gumboot Fashion in the Field competition will be held at the Robertson Show, and organiser Ellie Di Bella wants to see your best creation.
“There are no parameters, I’m just looking for creative flair,” she said.
“The more avant-garde, the better.”
Ms Di Bella came up with the idea after seeing everyone sporting gumboots at previous Robertson shows.
“It’s generally always raining for the show, so I thought we should jazz our gumboots up and strut our stuff,” she said.
“It’s something for the young and the young-at-heart.”
There are three categories: under 10s, under 16s and open class. Everyone who enters will receive a voucher to use at the Rockabellas Cafe, and there are cash prizes for the winners.

They can be ugly, beautiful or just plain crazy, as long as the boots have been given a makeover.
“If you put thought into your design, and show what your gumboots to mean you or what Robertson means to you, that will be an advantage,” Ms Di Bella said.
The event will be held at 1.00pm on March 11 at the Robertson Show, just before the Potato Races.
Ms Di Bella said she hoped to incorporate a fundraising element to the competition for 2018, to help a charity which supports people in primary industries.
The 2017 show is on March 10 and 11.
