They came from Singapore, China and Queensland to celebrate Patricia Gibbons 90th birthday at Southern Highlands Winery on February 25.
English-born Patricia met Bowral-born (Lionel) Gordon Gibbons in South Africa and emigrated to Australia in 1954.
Patricia has four children, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Most were able to attend the birthday celebrations.
Gordon passed away 18 years ago and is buried at the All Saint Church in Sutton Forest.
Patricia continues to manage the family property in Sutton Forest and holds a driver’s license.
She drives to Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong most days of the week to collect her mail and groceries.
Patricia said that she eats a healthy breakfast of cereals and fruit every day, has a big main meal at lunchtime and a snack for dinner.
She still uses her John Deere ride-on mower to slash the grass in the paddocks and refuses to let anyone take her seat.
Patricia takes part in the annual Moss Vale Show and has won prizes for her watercolours artwork.
