Hundreds of brides are expected to pour into Bradman Oval this weekend for Love A Fair, to sample the goods and services of more than 80 wedding vendors. Premium Highlands venues, florists, stylists, photographers, cars and transport, entertainment, food vendors and beauty services will be at the fingertips of excited couples.

Manage My Event director Donna McIntosh, who founded the event three years ago, said at least 400 brides would attend the fair on January 22.

“It’s the perfect place to find the right inspiration,” she said. “We all know the Highlands is one of the top wedding destinations in NSW. The quality of venues and vendors, and the number of weddings held here is proof of that.”

Visitors to the 2017 Love A Fair will notice the wedding showcase’s strong branding, something that was a strong focus in the lead up to the third event. “We’ve focused a lot on our brand this year – we’ve developed from the Southern Highlands Wedding Fair to Love A Fair, which was about re-branding to a broader event that will be held in other regions,” she said.

Ms McIntosh said growing support for the annual attraction had allowed her to look into other sites, from the Macarthur region and northern NSW down to the south coast and Canberra. “We’re protecting the great product that it is and looking at branching out to multiple fairs per year.”

Attending a wedding fair can often leave newly-engaged couples feeling overwhelmed with the planning process, but Love A Fair has couples covered with a new wedding directory, called The Wedding Market Co.

“It will be launched at the 2017 Love A Fair and is a directory and hard publication with a blog component.”
