The second annual Southern Highlands Auto Fair will feature more than 50 stalls to delight the interested shopper along with children’s activities such as a jumping castle, cars and playground.
Funds raised at last year’s fair totalled about $20,000, which went to the Southern Highlands Cancer Centre.
Organiser Phil Walmsley said he hoped the event would raise a similar amount, and encouraged anyone with a classic, collectable or interesting car to enter competitions on the day.
“Darren and I decided to start the fair last year as we saw it as a good opportunity to give back to the community and those in need,” he said.
“Cars that came along last year included vintage and veteran cars, hot rods, modified cars, muscle cars and lots of British cars, so we’re expecting to see those again this year.”
Organised by members of the Highland Cruisers Hot Rod and Custom Club, the fair will be shared with the Berrima Schoolyard Markets at the public school.
Prizes in the raffle include a $1000 Harvey Norman gift voucher and a fully restored antique rocking horse.
The first 150 vehicles entered on the day will receive a goodies bag filled with gifts and information.
