The evening allowed Highlands to meet the CDP candidates for Hume and Whitlam: Adrian Van Der Byl and Susan Pinsuti respectively.
A meal was shared with participants, and Christian values of the area were discussed.
The values were:
- Support marriage between a man and a woman
- Protect children from abuse and sexualisation by removing the Safe-Schools program
- No Medicare cuts
Ms Pinsuti outlined her support of CDP policies, and talked about her background in the Southern Highlands, including grow-
ing up around Glenquarry and Kangaloon, and her experiences with the disability rehabilitation in the workforce.
Mr Van Der Byl outlined his policies based on Biblical principles, including his opposition to same-sex marriage.
