The Southern Highlands Vietnam Veterans' Peacekeepers and Peacemakers Association held the annual commemorative and wreath laying service on Tuesday.
It marked the 49th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan and gave members of the public the opportunity to acknowledge those who served and sacrificed their lives in South Vietnam.
The RSL Rural Commemorative Youth Choir paid their respects in song to civil dignitaries and ex-servicemen who were in attendance.
The Royal Australian Navy who mounted the guard of honour at the service, which took place at the Vietnam War Memorial in Settler's Park, Bowral.
Afterwards there was a gathering of Veterans, their families and interested members of the public at Mittagong RSL Club.
