The Illawarra South East Region Secondary Principals Council Meeting was hosted by Moss Vale High School this term and welcomed deputy secretary school operations and performance Greg Prior, Public Schools NSW executive director Graham Kahabka and Principal Council president Belinda Wall.
The meeting is held every term and the principals from as far as Eden to Wollongong, Bowral and Goulburn meet to network and share ideas.
Moss Vale High School principal Peter Macbeth said the school was "lucky enough" to host the event this term.
"It's all about professional learning for principals," Mr Macbeth said.
"It's an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas while also catch up and network.
"It's a very productive day and we get an enormous amount out of it."
The event included a talk from Mr Prior and Mr Kahabka and discussions from Aboriginal community leaders about Aboriginal education.
The principals discussed projects and shared best practice ideas.
"To be able to ask Mr Prior and Kahabka questions has been very invaluable," Mr Macbeth said.
The principals were treated to a morning tea and lunch whipped up by Moss Vale High School's hospitality students.
