MC'd by Lucy Palmer, this year's theme was Southern Highlands Women Caring Across the World and raised awareness of the Barbara May Foundation.
The Barbara May Foundation supports the work of Australian's Valerie Browning AM and Dr Andrew Browning to provide a simple network of maternal health care in developing countries in Africa.
It aims to decrease the high incidence of women and babies who die or are injured during childbirth and thereby reduce the number of women suffering from obstetric fistula.
Aunty Val gave the Welcome to Country and spoke about her childhood and her time working in Kings Cross rescuing drug addicts.
Guest Speaker was philanthropist Annabel Dulhunty who, along with two friends, raised more than $60,000 for the foundation last year.
She spoke of her time in Africa, her local experience with the Barbara May Foundation and the power of women in the local community.
Barbara May Foundation general manager Jo Crowley said the event very successful.
"Aunty Val provided insightful, wonderful memories and views on what Aboriginal women have gone through," she said.
"It was a wonderful insight from Annabel Dulhunty and the Frensham Madrigals brought the house down - as usual."
She said the foundation was very blessed to have the support of everyone at the event and was grateful to council for making it happen.
"They host this event each year and make it possible for women to come together."
Organiser Jenny Kena said it was great to partner with the Barbara May Foundation and it was a good opportunity to promote the work they they do.
