The Burrawang Village Hotel was named on NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant's Destination NSW Top 10 Outdoor Dining Spots across NSW.
The list is part of an endeavour to showcase some of the best activities, locations and experience the state has to offer throughout summer.
"There's something for everyone, from the adventure seekers to those who prefer a quiet picnic with family and friends," Mr Grant said.
"This week I'm encouraging everyone to get out and enjoy a variety of open air settings and some of the world famous restaurants and produce we have on offer."
The Burrawang Village Hotel was the only restaurant in the Highlands to make the list and just one of three from the South Coast and Illawarra regions.
Owner Ed Woolfrey said it was a great honour for the hotel to make the list.
"We're quite chuffed," he said.
"It's a great achievement and we're really proud of it."
The Burrawang Village Hotel is open for lunch seven days per week and Mr Woolfrey said it was an excellent spot for families.
"We have quite an expansive lawn where children can run about and some lovely tables under the trees," he said.
